2024 Star Party Schedule:
Saturday, September 14th - Cancelled -International Observe the Moon Night in conjunction with the Anacortes Library 7pm to 8:30pm - at Seafarer's park in Anacortes. Due to the weather, the Observe the Moon Night with the Anacortes Library is cancelled.
As always, Star Parties and dependent on clear skies. Even partly cloudy skies may cause us to cancel these events. We will always update this webpage as early in the day as we are able to determine when an event is cancelled. We also encourage you to use the weather chart below as a gauge to the likelihood an event will be cancelled or not.
The Clear Sky Chart below predicts the weather in Anacortes for the next 96 hours. Check back to this page often for updates. In the Clear Sky Chart, the darker the blue in the Cloud Cover row just after sunset, the better the chances of having fair conditions for a Star Party. Just remember, the chart is in military or 24 hour clock (18 is 6pm).
